Review of Trades Academy curriculum
In 2013 I reviewed existing curriculum across an entire Trades Academy to not only align the curriculum with the New Zealand Government’s initiative of Vocational Pathways, but also to further improve the curriculum to meet hte needs of students, secondary schools and tertiary education. The review involved in-depth conversations with teachers and management, a workshop with secondary school representatives, and documentation study, and concluded in a proposal for the 2014 programme. This programme was implemented in 2014.
